The hulls of speed boats are treated with various coatings for optimal hydrodynamics and maneuverability, so they can’t afford to lose these qualities with extra antifouling measures. Speed boat antifouling has to be done carefully and without any invasion of the meticulously prepared surface of the hull. The solution is sonic antifouling which offers great results without changing the characteristics of the boat. It works without interfering with the structure of the hull, all the effects are external. This system can be simply switched off when the boat is in use, then switched back on when it is stored without use for a longer time.
